J Brock and Sons Case Study
J Brock and Sons are a leading agricultural machinery trader specialising in new and used farm machinery. With over 40 years’ experience gained through years of farming and trading of farm machinery and a skilled workshop team with full in-house machinery repair and equipment rebuild facilities, they have become an internationally recognised brand for agricultural machinery and parts.
J Brock and Son's had been trading agricultural machinery for over 40 years when they approached Realnet about replacing their very simple site. They needed a modern website which allowed them to display their extensive stock online and encourage enquiries.
The new site was designed and developed with farmers in mind. We wanted them to be able to quickly and easily find the type of agricultural machinery they wanted quickly and easily, with minimal fuss.
The solution also integrated with their internal Ibcos system, which stored all their stock. However, whilst Ibcos stored the core stock information, the website content management system was needed to add additional information and photos. Again for the photos, an innovative solution was found so that J Brock and Sons could just run a daily photo synchronisation rather than needing to individually upload each photo on their slow internal internet connection.
The site, to date, has achieved nearly 5 million page views at a low average bounce rate of only 24.5%.
We have continued to work with J Brock and Sons, including adding a bespoke internal intranet system which manages their enquiries, sales and workshop processes.
