EG Technology is a company specialising in product engineering design and development, based in Cambridge. EG projects include next-generation medical devices, laboratory and diagnostic equipment and consumer products.
The previous website had some useful, informative information, however, there was no SEO (search engine optimisation) strategy and presentation of content to visitors was not clear and consistent. The client has a track-record of providing excellent services within the industry and while there was a need to get the message ‘out there’ in terms of the service offer, it was also important to show how their people made the difference.
There were two key audiences identified – potential clients and also prospective recruits.

Each of these areas could then be backed up by client case studies and testimonials as well as targeted glossary terms and FAQs.
All of the content was carefully balanced to target both SEO and conversion optimisation so that visitor numbers could be increased and participation, in the form of enquiries, improved.
Since we started working with EG Technology, there has been a positive development to the consistency and clarity across the website. The new modern aesthetic has led to a much better user experience; key calls to action are now more easily identifiable and engaging to users and the refined website layout makes navigating around the site effortless.
The content on each page has improved as a result of our new additions, which provide visitors to the website with more information about EG Technology, previous positive customer experiences, and answers to frequently asked questions that they have received.
