Propeller: Bid Response Case Study
The Propeller Studios Bid Response team have been providing premium bid writing and related services to the construction sector for many years and have a proven track record in this area.
Having successfully built and optimised two websites for separate divisions within the client company (both for software), Realnet were invited to develop a website focussing on the service-provision arm of the organisation.
We identified early on that the existing website had both a good quantity, and quality, of written content and the company boasted some fantastic case studies and results. However, the way that the information was being presented (and indeed used for SEO purposes) did not live up to the standard of the content available.
Realnet spent the early stages of the project understanding the client and the potential audience as well as reviewing the existing content.
We didn’t want to change content for the sake of it (as previously mentioned, on the whole, this was well written). We instead focussed on how to present the content in a clearer manner while introducing snippets of content, calls to action and other devices to link internally so that content was amplified throughout the site. Not only this, but individual service pages acted as ‘landing pages’ so that direct visitors got both an understanding of service offered while gaining an understanding of the company and its pedigree.
At the time of writing, the website has been live for a matter of weeks.
The new website now includes testimonials, FAQs, case studies and news articles as feeds and blocks on info pages throughout the site. This means content that is updated on a regular basis filter through to other pages and keeps the website looking fresh and ‘alive’.
Service pages are now structured specifically to give visitors clear messages of:
- What (service)
- Why (headline success statistics, case studies, testimonials)
- How (clear call to action / contact options)
