AVM Services Case Study
AVM Services is a decontamination specialist, operating commercially within the Estates and Facilities department of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With over 18 years experience, AVM's broad range of decontamination services including validation, consultancy, training and servicing to both NHS and private sector establishments.
AVM Services had a website that had been rebuilt by Realnet some years ago but had been very dormant in terms of new content and was not fulfilling its potential as a ‘member’ of the sales team.
Realnet met with AVM and discussed both a short and long-term strategy to increase visitors to, and enquiries from, the website. This began with an honest (but diplomatic!) website review in terms of the amount, quality and currency of the content as well as the layout and structure of the website.
A digital marketing plan was created and this included keyword targets, KPIs and overall goals. This then influenced a short-term project of restructuring the site to enable consistency, promote calls to action and present information in a clearer manner. The initial project also included the creation of approx. 30% more page content explaining services in more detail such as consultancy.
In the longer-term, the digital marketing teamwork with the client on continuous content creation (including news articles) and SEO focussed updates.
The renewed AVM Services website has grown visitor numbers and page views, and reduced bounce rates, month on month. The main goals (several enquiry streams) have also been achieved in greater volumes than ever before. Realnet is also gaining more and more insight into the client’s ethos and USPs, so that creation of new content for the website has become easier and quicker with each passing month.
