The past 18 months has been an interesting period for Realnet’s team of developers, project managers, account managers and digital marketers as the Covid-19 pandemic forced a dramatic set of changes from office-bound working to work from home.
To help ensure that all clients were still being looked after to the highest levels, the management team implemented numerous digital communications schedules for team members as well as with clients, and managed to keep all projects, new and existing, on track.
As the pandemic has now eased and the entire team has been vaccinated, the decision has been made to introduce a phased return to the office for certain staff on select days, as the team looks to reintroduce some more normalized working conditions.
For now, the Digital Marketing and Account Management team will come into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, thus keeping numbers in the office limited to maintain Covid-19 safe working protocols, and also allowing staff to adjust to the revised schedule.
Managing Director, Kari Sewell, comments, “The Covid-19 pandemic really took us all by surprise, and to have made the adjustment to work-from-home routines as quickly and effectively as the team did is remarkable.
“We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of digital technology and expertise to our clients, so to put that knowledge into practice to ensure we kept the business thriving during this difficult time is testament to the team’s commitment.
“As the pandemic recedes, we’re pleased to be able to get back to some fairly normal working practices, and it’s nice to see the staff in person again after so many months of only seeing them through a screen!”
