As we head towards the end of another strange and disrupted year, the Realnet team decided to celebrate being able to interact face to face again by taking a teambuilding trip to the heart of Cambridge, for a highly-entertaining punting trip on the Cam.
It really has been a busy year for our team, with no slow-down in the amount of work done on new projects and websites, servicing our existing client base and developing our skillset and team to ensure we can continue in 2022!
Taking some rare time out to spend an afternoon together on the water, we hired our punts at Scudamore’s and headed off up the river in perfect weather. As we really back ourselves, we decided to take the ‘self-punt’ option, and despite the odd wobble at the start, those that braved the setting pole managed to get us moving in the right direction.
Of course the endless sights on the Cam, including Mathematical Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs and King’s College, made for spectacular viewing and reminded us how fortunate we are to be based near such an historical and innovative city.
We look forward to a short Festive Season break, and welcome all the exciting things to come in 2022 when we hope to build on the progress we made this past 12 months.
