Congratulations to Realnet’s MD Kari Sewell for completing this year’s Cambridge Half Marathon in just under two hours. He was running with a team from radio station Heart Cambridgeshire, including Managing Editor Freddie Scherer, Breakfast News Reader Annie Green and Account Manager Martine Smith.
They were raising sponsorship for Global’s Make Some Noise, which supports Anna’s Hope, the region’s leading children’s brain tumour charity.
Kari said: “It’s a great cause and a good personal challenge to start the year fit and raring to go. I was pleased to beat my record from last year and get under the two hour mark – not easy for a natural sprinter!”
Freddie said: “The support was fantastic and it was great to have so many people lining the route cheering us on! If I hadn’t been smiling at all the official cameras I would have probably been faster!”
