With nearly half a century of experience, CPC Cares is a leading UK pet cremation and veterinary waste disposal provider. When their aging veterinary customer portal system needed modernisation, Realnet came on board early in the project, assisting with the scoping phase and feasibility testing potential solutions.
Development of the new vet portal quickly followed and was built using WordPress and WooCommerce as the backbone. Plugins and coding were used to enable key features such as a private shop for purchasing consumables. With our experience of integrations, we were able to link the online portal to the back-office system used for order fulfilment, eliminating duplication of effort in terms of order entry.
WordPress and WooCommerce provided CPC Cares with an easy-to-use content, stock and order management system and veterinary customers are able to utilise features such as favourite products for quicker ordering.
