PharmEnable is an AI drug discovery company based in Cambridge, which specialises in locking challenging targets by mapping unexplored chemical space to deliver innovative medicines. Their website is based on WordPress, and although it was built by a different design agency, PharmEnable approached Realnet to assist them with managed hosting and ongoing technical support, with quick response a key priority.
Challenge
Within the scope of a managed hosting solution, PharmEnable asked Realnet to provide them both with stable, consistent hosting uptime as well as fast, responsive support when needed – both technical and in terms of adding content to keep the website optimised and dynamic.
Solution
Realnet created a website support package which allows PharmEnable to ‘bank’ hours each month so that whenever they require website updates, whether technical or content-based, they have a reserve of time available for work to be done immediately. Additionally, Realnet – after initially optimising the website by removing redundant plugins – takes a proactive approach by offering monthly advice and ideas for updates to the website.
Results
PharmEnable is able to enjoy a responsive support team that keeps their website updated, dynamic and optimised at all times. Updates include content-related items such as the addition of news articles, team profiles and vacancies. Where relevant, SEO-related updates such as meta titles and descriptions etc. are made as part of the process. When there is an urgent request, Realnet are able to assist, for instance, we were able to work with the PharmEnable comms team to upload a time-sensitive press release to the News section on the same day as the request.
