SPC Yearbooks is the yearbooks division of the award-winning School Planner Company, and have been working with students and teachers to create superb yearbooks since 2001.
SPC approached Realnet to take on their Yearbooks website from their existing in-house team. Maintaining the website in-house required a costly team of resources, and also the range of skills of a web agency wasn't available to make greater progress with the website, and move the business forward.
The brief was to design a new more contemporary website and redefine the website structure to encourage conversions, whilst increasing back-house efficiencies.
The website already ranked reasonably well in Google, but there were still areas that could be improved upon to generate greater numbers of website visitors.
Realnet conducted a full brainstorming session with the company to gain an intimate understanding of their products, services, market place and competition.
From this a plan for the new website was created which simplified the overall structure, so it would be easy to navigate through the range of products and services to the most appropriate pages for the visitor.
Working with SPC designs were created, tweaked and improved to reflect the overall branding, but create a more enticing style.
The site was then built by Realnet, linking through to their existing enquiries system in conjunction with the remaining internal resources.
Finally, Realnet have maintained the website like their internal department used to do, along with adding skills in search engine optimisation, adwords campaign management and web consultation to actively develop more enquries.
