Ambersphere are exclusive UK providers of entertainment lighting for the brands Clay Paky and MA Lighting. Ambersphere provide support, service and training for these products and have a West End sales showroom.
As exclusive UK providers they felt that their old site didn't showcase the vast ranges of skills and services that they perform.
It is important that Ambersphere can show the range of products, with details about the products in an easy to view format.
Training is also an important part of their work. They needed an area on their site whereby people can find out information about the courses and easily contact Ambersphere to book their spot.
Whilst Ambersphere already had an industry recognised brand, they were also open to our design team tweaking with the brand to make the most of it for the web.
The Entertainment Lighting industry is fast paced, so Ambersphere need a site that they can update easily and quickly.
We delivered a content managed website with a design created by our design team.
They are able to create news and assign which areas of the site the news appears on. This gives greater relevance to their news and views.
A products module allows the Ambersphere team to add, remove and edit products. Products can be given additional prominence by featuring them in a carousel.
A training module provides excellent functionality to be able to advertise their training courses and allowing prospective attendees to enquire about availability.
Metrics are a powerful tool as they allow us to measure success.
Since Ambersphere's new website was made 'live' there has been a noticeable increase in visitors.
The visitors are an almost 50/50 split of returning and new visitors with an average visit duration of 2.5 minutes. This is a great result as it shows that new visitors are finding their website and once the site has been found, visitors are staying on their site to view the content.
The most popular pages of the site after the home page are the training, support and contact pages. However the fact that the products and product details pages also have high traffic shows that the creation of a journey through the site is working well.
