At Realnet we have extensive experience of developing and integrating APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). In layman's terms, an API is a tool that translates the languages of two different programs, allowing them to speak and operate with each other.
As with every aspect of our work, we are methodical and thorough in our processes, and when it comes to writing APIs we understand the importance of fully documenting them. From accessing and authentication protocols, through to methods and outputs, our supporting documentation is as reliable as our coding.
As well as developing APIs, we are fully versed with integrating existing APIs from all the big names into your project - be that Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon, Ebay or Microsoft, we know how to make your systems communicate.

We've constructed integrations which work via the existing frontend web technologies, posting to forms already in place and requesting then "scraping" data from the pages; through to full database level integrations where we use our reverse engineering skills to understand how your systems work at data level, and then build a bespoke interface with the database.
