£2bn last year
£2bn last year

UK Internet ad spend topped £2bn last year.
Porsche allocates one-fifth of marketing spend to online ads.
The message is clear. The Internet is fully established now as a key and growing element of any serious marketing budget.
If a powerful brand like Porsche is planning to spend 20% of its marketing budget on the Internet it must be time for the rest of us to sit up and take notice.
At Realnet we have seen a dramatic growth in the amount of online advertising funds we have been managing over the last two years.
There are many reasons, for this but at the end of the day the key reason is accountability.
The powerful Analytic tools available from Google to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of every pound spent, have transformed the way marketing budgets can be managed.
No longer do we have to throw money at Ads and hope for the best. Every penny spent can be justified in terms of traffic or revenue generated.
At Realnet we have been managing client advertising funds for many years - in fact since the inception of AdWords by Google. The increasingly powerful tools available have allowed us to create ever more effective campaigns.
But even more important they have shown how to improve the design and functionality of the website.
We know that visitors are important, but it is even more important to convert a visitor into a customer.
