Mouse Rage?
Mouse Rage?

Shopping on badly designed websites "could have a negative effect on the immune system, cardio functioning and nervous system", according to a report published in December by the Social Issues Research Centre.
The SIRC report states: "When the test participants came to the 'problem' sites deliberately chosen as comparisons for the 'Perfect Website' evaluation exercise (a prior study), things changed quite dramatically. While a few managed to stay calm and 'rise above' the problems presented by crazy graphics and slow-loading pages, others showed very distinct signs of stress and anxiety."
The report shows that Mouse Rage can be as stressful as moving house, divorce and money worries.
Businesses selling online have a responsibility to make the experience as stress free as possible. People want to buy online. In the run up to Christmas more than £4m an hour was spent online in the UK.
The message is clear, a successful website needs to provide no frills high-speed page loading with an intuitive and easy to navigate structure that leads easily to the completion of the transaction.
With the growing use of website Analytics, Realnet works with clients to continuously improve the conversion efficiency of their websites.
Attention to overall design and functionality as well as the myriad of details on each page has led to more than doubling the number of site visitors who actually spend money on the site.
In the highly competitive online market place a good working partnership with the web design company is key to success.
